Network

A national network, globally connected.

The NCCR Children & Cancer is built as a national network that connects leading universities, hospitals and research institutions across Switzerland. It unites more than 30 core research groups. Together, they form a highly collaborative environment designed to tackle the complexity and rarity of pediatric cancers from multiple angles.

The NCCR Children & Cancer brings together major pediatric oncology centers, academic partners and clinical networks into a coordinated structure. This collaboration overcomes the current fragmentation of the field and creates a critical mass of expertise, data and infrastructure.

Network NCCR Children & Cancer

The organization integrates fundamental researchers, clinicians, data scientists and communication experts, as well as patient representatives and healthcare professionals. The multidisciplinary approach ensures that research questions are closely aligned with clinical needs and societal expectations.

Strong international links further connect the network to leading global initiatives in pediatric oncology, enabling access to cutting-edge knowledge, technologies and clinical trials. Through shared platforms, harmonized data systems and coordinated leadership, the NCCR establishes a sustainable foundation for long-term collaboration, innovation and training of the next generation of experts in childhood cancer research.
